My primary interest is the creative process. Its common thread weaves through materials and across disciplines.  To experience it, through design, dance, drawing, or any creative act, is to partake in its mystery.  That experience is the goal.

The work is the byproduct of this heightened state of sensitivity. There comes a moment of rupture, when the work must break free.  Yielding to it embeds something vital, beyond the senses, into the material.

Recurring themes in my work derive from a background in dance and architecture: the language of line, form and movement, structure and space, materiality and mysticism.  I build compositions both by the impulse of intuition and the logic of materials.  I continually return to the experience of the body and its relationship to the surrounding environment.

We are the flute, our music is Thine
